Yusuf Dikec: The Olympic “hitman”

In the 10-meter air pistol mixed team event, most shooters sported the usual protective gear—except for one. Turkish marksman Yusuf Dikec, at 51, became an internet sensation with his relaxed, almost nonchalant style. Wearing only small earplugs and regular eyeglasses, Dikec even kept one hand in his pocket, as if casually playing a carnival game. Despite his laid-back approach, he still secured a silver medal for Turkey. Aspiring shooters, take note: while Dikec made it look easy, safety gear is still a must!
